Hong Kong has developed into a service-oriented economy and the services sector is driving economic growth. There is a need to raise public awareness of the contribution of the services sector to Hong Kong and its outstanding achievements.

The HONG KONG AWARDS for SERVICES is designed to showcase the outstanding achievements of the Hong Kong services sector by publicly recognising quality companies. Its aim is to raise the standard of service industries in Hong Kong by heightening general awareness of them and encouraging local companies and the community to put more emphasis on service-related training.
