gcc_new_logo_full.jpg (12968 bytes)The Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce is the oldest - founded in 1861 - and largest - around 4,000 corporate members - business organization in Hong Kong.  We are international in character, with membership comprising of multi-national companies, Chinese mainland companies, and Hong Kong companies.  We are self-funded, a non-profit organization, and as such, we are a truly independent body representing the entire scope of trade, service and industry in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region

The Hong Kong Franchise Association was established in 1992 within the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce to monitor and promote the development of franchising activities in Hong Kong, China and Southeast Asia.  As a focal point for liaison with the government on matters concerning franchising and its applications, the HKFA aims to further promote franchising as well as strengthen standards of practice.

The HKSAR Government is pressing ahead with efforts to ensure Hong Kong retains and sharpens its competitive edge. The Business and Services Promotion Unit is at the forefront of those efforts. The Unit was set up in May 1997 and its vision is to maintain Hong Kong as the best place in the world for business, and premier services centre in the region.

The Coalition of Service Industries, USA represents the interests of the dynamic American service economy, which employs 80% of the workforce and generates 3/4 of national output. Since its inception in 1982, CSI has created greater public awareness of the major role services play in the national economy and it has shaped domestic and international economic policies to the benefit of the services sector. The broad range and diversity of the service economy is reflected in CSI's membership in all 50 states and in more than 100 nations.

Global Services Network, International CSIs: The HKCSI is a founding member of the GSN, which is open to participation by all organizations representing services industries and interests, including academic institutions, companies, and individuals.
