report.jpg (2893 bytes)With the support of the SAR's Services Support Fund and the Pacific Basin Economic Council Hong Kong - China Member Committee, the HKCSI launched a study entitled “Opportunities from Liberalization of Trade in Services - The Private Sector Interest"   in 1998. The purpose of the study is to explore business opportunities arising from the GATS and to develop a private sector "wish list" for the year 2000 round of WTO negotiations on Services. Sectors covered by the study are Financial Services, Business Services, Information Technology Services, Distribution Services, Construction and Related Engineering Services, Transport Services and E-Commerce.
